I am writing a how-to article about the rebates you can get to install solar panels (30%+), electric cars ($11,500-$13,500 off the price) and Air Source Heat Pumps ($10,000 to $16,000) as part of the socialist Joe Biden/Kamala Harris Administration’s Inflation Reduction Act of 2022. These rebates might soon dry out since Trump who is going to be the new President believes Global Warming is a hoax and no money needs to be spent on preventing it. He has said he wants to repeal Biden’s Inflation Reduction Act. So you might want to act soon. But I am sure whoever voted for Trump does not need or appreciate these socialist handouts from these communists Biden and Harris so they won’t apply for them, right? (:

But today I have to talk about what just happened with the elections. I understand it seems off topic but it really isn’t. It’s all connected.
In 2020 Biden was elected by 81M people voting for him. 74.2M voted for Trump.
This year for Kamala voted 73M people and for Trump 76M which is close to what he got last time.
USA population 345-360 million people
Eligible voters 258M
Registered voters 159M.
The American voters were literally given a choice between a Prosecutor and a known Convicted Criminal and they chose the convicted criminal to be their new President. It’s sad that in America, a felon cannot be a CEO but can be a President of the USA. Trump did not win because more people voted for him but because less people voted for Harris. Eight million people from 2020 decided to stay home this time and not to vote at all knowing that Kamala Harris’ policies would have been substantially the same or very similar to Joe Biden’s policies! The main difference between Biden and Harris is that he is a man and she is a woman.
I never wanted or expected Biden to remove himself as a candidate for a 2nd term. But when he announced (under pressure) that he has chosen a female successor as if though he is a king I immediately told people around me “This is bad. She will lose because America is not ready for a female president.” Over the next weeks I allowed myself to be swept up by the enthusiasm that Democrats felt but in the end my gut instinct turned out correct. Instead of anointing anyone Biden should have stayed or left early and opened for the Democrats to choose who they want to nominate.
The elephant in the room is that the real reason Harris was not elected is because she is a woman and on top of that a woman of color.
An October Reuters/Ipsos poll found that 15% of registered voters would not be comfortable voting for a female president. The number is probably higher because most people are reluctant to admit something like that.
But the exit numbers don’t lie.
HERE IS HOW LATINO MEN VOTED:
Latino men voted 61% for Bill Clinton for his first term and 72% for his 2nd, 67% and 71% for Obama, and 59% for Biden. Interestingly they voted only 45% for Harris. They must know that her policies would have been substantially similar to those of Obama and Biden so why only 45%? One number that goes against my hypothesis that Kamala lost because she is a woman is that that Hillary Clinton won 65% of the Latino men. The way I can explain this is that maybe the 1st time they felt more threatened by the unknown Trump coming down the escalator calling them rapists than by a woman and maybe the 2nd time around he didn’t seem worse to them than a woman being President.
Barack Obama immediately smelled the problem and talking to black men he said: “And you are thinking about sitting out? Part of it makes me think — and I’m speaking to men directly — part of it makes me think that, well, you just aren’t feeling the idea of having a woman as president, and you’re coming up with other alternatives and other reasons for that.”
HERE IS HOW BLACK MEN VOTED:
Black men voted 83% for Bill Clinton for his first term and 84% for his 2nd, 95% and 93% for Obama, 80% for Hillary Clinton, 87% for Biden, only 77% for Harris. Hmm!
HERE IS HOW WOMEN VOTED:
Women Voted 47% for Clinton for his first term and 54% for his 2nd, 56% and 55% for Obama, 54% for Hillary Clinton, 57% for Biden, only 53% for Harris and that’s AFTER Row vs Wade was overturned by a court picked by her opponent who was also found liable in a sex abuse case by a plaintiff who was a woman!!!! The number of women voting for her should have been through the roof. Instead, it was less than what male candidates from her party get with the exception of Bill Clinton’s first term. Why are women candidates getting less than Obama and Biden? Why do women seem not so supportive to other women?
HERE IS HOW MEN VOTED:
Men in general also did not vote much for Harris. She only got 39% of the men vote while Bill Clinton 1992 got 43% and 1996 got 48%, Obama was 52% and 45%, Hillary Clinton 41%, Biden 45%…Again, Hillary Clinton and Kamala Harris, the women, get the lowest number of votes.
The trends are as follows – Democratic female candidates for President consistently get less votes than the men from all voting groups, more educated voters vote for the Democrats, voters living in cities vote more for Democrats while in rural areas more for Republicans.
Why has America never had a female President and why is America not ready for a woman President?
The main answer is:
Religion.
Americans are just overly religious. Europe is not. They have gotten it mostly out of their system after centuries (millennia really) of suffering due to it.
The religious thinking goes something like this – the father of our imaginary friend Jesus created the woman from the rib of the man who was created first. She was created for him as a companion so that he is not alone.
Certain passages in the letters of St. Paul, especially in 1 Timothy 2:12 and 1 Corinthians 14:34, have been interpreted by many to suggest that women should not hold authoritative teaching or leadership roles in the church. For example, in 1 Timothy 2:12, Paul writes, “I do not permit a woman to teach or to assume authority over a man; she must be quiet.” This passage is often cited as a foundational scriptural basis for limiting priesthood to men.
Well, if women are not even allowed to be priests, the thinking of the less educated overly religious types goes, how can they be President of the United States?
According to PBS one third of Hispanic Catholics voted for Trump in 2020 when he was running against a man while over half of Hispanic Catholics voted for him this time around when he was running against a woman.
HERE IS HOW EVANGELICALS VOTED:
Again women get the lowest scores by religious people.
So again we are back to where we started – the Educational System in America is failing the citizens of America by failing to teach them History, Civics and Science and, generally speaking, what’s democracy and what’s fact and what’s fiction.
In addition to religion, there is also plain old jealousy/envy towards successful women and feeling threatened by them especially by white men.
They tried to get Oprah with the whole beef meat trial but failed.
James Comey was a young US Attorney trying make a name for himself, in a case of selective prosecution put Martha Stewart in jail, the first American woman to become a billionaire, pretty much just because she was a successful woman. People forget but she did not go to jail for insider trading. She went to prison because she told the FBI she didn’t remember parts of the conversation from the guy who knew about the insider trading but didn’t tell her. Her life and business were destroyed. She lost over a billion dollars because of a $45,000 trade.
Again James Comey, being the top FBI bro at the time, also most likely cost the election (along with Putin) of Hillary Clinton by “reopening” the so called “investigation” into her emails on Oct 28th, 2016 literally when voting was already underway. Hillary Clinton had a chance to win if it wasn’t for these two men – Comey and Putin.
I am sure Harris’ election campaign will be blamed for doing this and not that but the sad truth is that no matter what Harris did even if she ran a perfect campaign and no campaign is perfect and even if she courted the right working class people and the Blacks and the Latinos, it would not have been good enough because she is a woman in a very religious country.
I am not saying we should ban religion or the right to follow whatever religion you want. I do not want to change the Bill of Rights. But let’s be honest about religion and its effects.
By the way, the reason why abortion and the transsexuals/gay marriage issue are front and center and so important in elections is also directly related to religion. If it wasn’t for religion these will be almost non-issues.
And finally, one more thing about fact and fiction. After I posted the graphs about manufacturing jobs, inflation, migrants, the unemployment rate and the national debt I spoke in person to three different Trump voters and they all told me they did not believe that the numbers in these graphs are real and correct. I told them they come from the Department of the Treasury and the US Bureau of Labor Statistics and the employees there are not Democrats or Republicans, they don’t change with Administrations, they are not political appointees and they are mainly using standardized and widely accepted numbers from the economy to create these graphs and they have data from the beginning of the 20th century for every presidency. Well, that did not convince them at all.
I think America is in deep trouble if we cannot agree on the facts. Everybody is entitled to their opinions but not to their facts, right? Well, apparently some people have their own “facts”.
Trump contributed substantially to Americans losing trust in our institutions.
Losing trust in institutions is very bad for democracy.
Eastern Europe does not trust their institutions because they have been under the Russians boot and propaganda for so long and Russians lie all the time. So even 35 years after the Russians mostly left, people in Eastern Europe still don’t trust their institutions. When their Departments of Health tell them that the Covid Vaccine is safe they don’t trust that and don’t immunize. I think only about 20-50% immunized while Western Europe, Canada and America immunized 85-90%.
Trump substantially destroyed our trust in our institutions by his daily lies from the President’s podium. And then the Big Lie that the 2020 Election was rigged and stolen. Have you noticed that elections are only rigged when he loses but never when he wins? During this current 2024 election just several days ago he was constantly tweeting that in this county or that county and in this town or that town election fraud was discovered and caught, law enforcement is on the way, etc. Now that he won, I don’t see him rushing to court to expose all those cheaters he was tweeting about just several days ago, right? Oh, I tweeted how this election is rigged and filled with cheating just like the previous one but I won so never mind.
The same goes for the unemployment charts from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics. I clearly remember in 2015-16 when Trump was campaigning to be President he was going around saying that the 3% (or whatever it was at the time) of Unemployment was not the real number because there was a “hidden unemployment” of all those people who have given up and just staying home and not even looking for jobs. Suddenly after he was elected he immediately stopped talking about this made up by him “hidden” unemployment and started saying that his 3% numbers as reported by the US Bureau of Labor Statistics are correct and were the best in history.
He is such a smooth scam artist. His immigration, inflation, debt increase, manufacturing jobs, unemployment etc. numbers were not better than other presidents. In fact they were mostly worse than Democrats but he is such an excellent marketer, he convinced half of America that they were better.
It is sad for me to watch America’s decline due to poor Education!
Most pundits say it’s the Economy why Kamala lost but numbers say differently. It’s that the masses are uneducated, overly religious and sexist. That’s the reason. Our current economy is the envy of the whole world.
Trump lost the popular vote in 2016 and he and his party were badly beaten in 2018, 2020 and 2022. Trump did not win in 2024. His opponent lost because she was a woman plus a woman of color. Biden made a crucial mistake which allowed Trump to become the next president. Biden had his rosy glasses on about America when he picked her to replace him as the candidate.
It can’t be that Kamala Harris lost because of her policies on the economy or anything else because men with the same or very similar policies are getting a higher vote.
Most Americans are easily distracted by shiny objects like the 56 (or whatever the number is) transsexuals in women’s sports while our oceans which produce half of our oxygen to breathe are drowning in plastics, fish is overfished or suffocating in more and more dead zones with no oxygen and the planet is heating up because of our actions and slowly cooking us.
